On the road for the third section of Carnarvon NP, Salvator Rosa. It took us three days to get there due to the distance and some harsh road conditions. Then Blackdown NP before to returning to the coast aiming to see friends in Mackay.
We mix driving with lots of beautiful walks through incredible NP.
We are not short of daily rendez-vous with good meals thanks to our demanding taste buds, our camp-oven use and William’s home-made fire-pit / grill (fondue bourguignone, stews, soups, dampers, T-bones and various bbq, sauerkraut and even some veggies and salads…
The nights are still cold and we have some trouble getting up in the morning. We had planned to start the day at sunrise! Fortunately, we are slowly heading north hoping for warmer nights and early mornings.
Thanks William !
